Now we just have to solve the problem of how to find your misplaced cell phone if the ringer is turned off. Personally, I hardly ever turn off my ringer or my cell phone, since I'm afraid I'll forget to turn it back on again, so I don't have that problem, though I am occasionally embarrassed when my cell phone rings in shul or at a lecture (and I also hardly ever misplace my cell phone, because I always keep it in my pocket). But a certain member of our family, who shall remain nameless, often misplaces her cell phone, and almost always has the ringer off when that happens.
